Good morning friends!  I am so proud of how hard each of you are working!  I have the best classes ever!   For today, please work through the following activities (in addition to what Mme. Pfost has for you on her webpage):

  • Special Guest Read Aloud - please click here to watch this video of Ms. Sanchez reading you the book I am Love.  It is not AR, but it is great to share this story together as a school family today!
  • Read to Self / AR - you are welcome to begin taking AR quizzes for 4th quarter.  I have updated your 4th quarter goals, and know you will rock them!  Click here to go to AR.  Your username is first letter of your first name, and first four of your last, then password is your 9 number.  If you need your password please send me a Bloomz message or email.
  • Social Studies - please keep working on your Google Slides project about the desert ecosystem.  If you need directions, scroll down to yesterday's learning plan.
  • ELA - I'm sorry Imagine Learning wasn't working yesterday.  As soon as it is fixed, I will let you know.  For today, please do 15 minutes of Lexia.
  • Dance - Please go to this link to access dance activities for class today
  • Art - watch the following Art for Kids video, and draw a folding birthday cake!  All you need is a plain piece of white paper, a marker (or pencil or pen, just something to draw with), and colored pencils or crayons.  I am going to draw one too!
  • FlipGrid -  I miss you a ton and miss seeing your smiling faces.  Click here to record a FlipGrid and show me the folding birthday cake you drew.  Does anyone you know have a birthday coming up in April?  Say 'hi' to our class, show your drawing, and let us know who you know that has an April birthday.  Then, watch your classmates videos!

Daily Learning Plan - Tuesday, March 24, 2020

Welcome Back!

**Update:  Imagine Learning is not letting students log in at this time.  It is being worked on, and I will let you know when it is fixed, thank you all!**

Good morning friends!  I hope you had a great Spring Break, and are ready to get back to a daily routine of learning.  For today, please work through the following activities (in addition to what Mme. Pfost has for you on her webpage):

  • Math Review - please go to our Google classroom today, and work through the Multiplication and Division Escape Room one time (it's near the top of our stream).  I know we are used to doing this with partners, so see how quickly you can get through it alone!  Then, log into SplashLearn and earn points for our classroom.  I know last week was very short, but we didn't earn any rewards last week!  Let's see if we can get at least the first two done by Wednesday!
  • Social Studies - last week we started learning about the desert ecosystem.  Today I'd like you click this BrainPopJr. lesson and watch the clip about deserts.  You can also do either of the quizzes, or any other activities on the lesson.  Then, show me what you've learned from the two lessons by starting a Google Slides project.  After you watch the BrainPopJr. video, open a new tab with Google Classroom.  You will see today's assignment at the top.  If you have any questions about the lesson, you can leave a message on the assignment and I'll reply.  *If BrainPopJr. makes you log in, the username is:  missgavin and password is 123456.  This will be the same whenever we use this site.
  • ELA - please log into Imagine Learning today.  This is a new website that is now being offered to all students!  Please spend fifteen minutes working through the lessons.  Click this link to go there, then enter the following information:

Username: 9number

Password: 9number

Site Code: 4900360

  • P.E. - Please join Mr. O's Google Classroom.  After opening Google Classroom, click the + sign in the upper right corner, and enter this code:  ppmda6h  You will then see links he has posted for you to do P. E. at home.  Pretty awesome!
  • Mindful Monday (Tuesday!) - click this link from Mrs. Sanchez to help us be focused and calm today!
  • Smile for me!  I miss you a ton and can't wait to see you sometime soon!  I'm learning how to make videos and will share one with you hopefully tomorrow!
